Six short steps take a new building from empty to ready for the first bills. You can stop and come back any time.
Steps
- After you sign up, FlatWise opens Setup. It has six steps: building details, floors and flats, charges, due day and reminders, committee, and review.
- Fill each step or press Skip. FlatWise never asks for something it already knows, so those steps show as done.
- In Floors and flats, enter floors, blocks and flats per floor. You can also add car and bike parking per flat.
- In Charges, start from the suggested list (service charge, security, cleaning and so on), change the amounts and save.
- In Committee, enter name, email and role. FlatWise creates a sign-in for each person and shows a temporary password once. Send it to them yourself.
- Press Finish on the review step. Until then, the dashboard shows a checklist card with what is left.
Tips
Your progress is saved on the server, so you can continue on another phone.
A skipped step can be done later from its own screen, for example Flats or Collections.
